The Lagos State government has affirmed its arrangement to confine unregulated business transport tasks, like Danfos and Koropes, along the Lekki-Epe course starting October 1, 2024.

As per Vanguard, the government’s transportation counsel, Sola Giwa, expressed that this move is predictable with the state’s Vital Transportation End-all strategy (STMP) and looks to improve the driving involvement with the area.

To do this, the public authority is working with public travel transport administrators and association pioneers to manage and integrate the casual transportation area into the State’s Transport Change Drive.

The procedure incorporates revamping existing transport activities, conveying high-limit transports, rerouting minibusses, carrying out an e-tagging framework, and giving transportation foundation.

The execution will be finished in stages, and administrators who neglect to agree will confront fines and relinquishment of their vehicles.

The public authority plans to upgrade wellbeing, traveler solace, and security along the Lekki-Epe hall.
