Jemima Osunde has shared her thoughts on the hike in Nigeria’s international passport fees
Just days ago, the Federal Government declared that the fees for these passports have been raised.
The movie star expressed her disappointment on X about not getting her passport 10 years ago before the increase.
The Nigeria Migration Service’s representative, Kenneth Udo, posted a message on the NIS account on X. he composed:
“Based on the review, a 32-page passport booklet with five-year validity previously charged at N35,000 will now be N50,000 only; while a 64-page passport booklet with 10-year validity which was N70,000 will be N100,000 only.”
Entertainer Jemima Osunde communicated her failure on X about not getting hers quite a while back before the increment.
She made sense of the fact that, as an unmarried lady, she avoided the problem of changing her name on the passport, which is why she didn’t get it.
“Me that I should’ve done 10 years passport, I was doing what if I marry.
SMH.
I still choose this over the name change hassle sha”.
