singer Falz faces backlash as he gets implicated into Bobrisky’s case

As per Punch News, Nigerian rapper and dissident Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, uncovered that he talked with disputable online entertainment figure Idris Okuneye, otherwise called Bobrisky, over Bobrisky’s legitimate troubles early this year.

Falz said that Bobrisky asked him for N3 million to get a celebrity section at the Remedial Center.

This comment comes after Falz’s legal team, Falana & Falanas Chambers, sent a letter to Martins Vincent Otse, moniker VeryDarkMan, mentioning a withdrawal of disparaging charges against him.

The letter addressed a social media post in which VeryDarkMan alleged that Falz colluded with Bobrisky to “pervert the course of justice” by financially assisting him in obtaining a favourable judicial result Dated September 26, 2024, the letter from Falz’s lawyer, Taiwo E. Olawanle, clarified the events.

The letter detailed, “On May 4, 2024, Bobrisky contacted our client requesting a conversation. Out of goodwill, our client agreed, assuming Bobrisky might need legal guidance due to the charges against him. However, Bobrisky instead asked for N3 million to allegedly pay officials for access to a VIP section in the Correctional Centre.”

Falana and Falana Chambers sought a quick withdrawal of the slanderous remarks and a general acknowledgment on all channels.

In a viral video, VeryDarkMan referred to Bobrisky’s statement that EFCC authorities took N15 million to drop money laundering charges. Bobrisky denies the charges, and EFCC Executive Ola Olukoyede has sent off an investigation into the matter.
