Nollywood star Funke Akindele has responded to a web-based entertainment remark advising her to quit acting in her own movies.
Her reaction followed a video she shared on X (previously Twitter) advancing her forthcoming film, Everyone Loves Jenifa, which will be relased in December.
The user with the username @Godbles82 suggested that Akindele could make more progress by focusing on making her movies rather than acting in them.
The comment read: “Maybe you could do better by producing a movie one day without being part of the cast.”
Akindele quickly responded to the critique, she wrote:
“Maybe you could do better logging out of this app.”
