Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, shared his experiences regarding his rise to fame.
The artist behind the “Made in Lagos” album disclosed that he hails from a family of 11 children, with four being his mother’s biological offspring. He acknowledged that the lessons learned during his childhood significantly shaped his worldview.
“I came from the bottom, I know what it feels like not to have anything. There was a time in my life I have never even had breakfast, it was just lunch or maybe dinner,” he remarked.
Wizkid, who is known for keeping a position of safety away from the public eye, offered thanks towards his dad and late mother for their priceless direction.
