Toke Makinwa, a Nigerian television presenter, has conceded that she laments a few activities and choices in her day-to-day existence.
Makinwa claims she went through years attempting to demonstrate she’s a good person; however, now that she has some better sense, she won’t rehash it.
She referenced this in an Instagram post, noticing that begging for one’s worth to be perceived in marriage, at work, or in fellowships won`t ever work.
The media big name proceeded to say that she doesn`t have to convince anybody to help out her since it is their concern in the event that they don`t.
Makinwa wrote: “Not just in marriage alone, In Friendships, Work relationships, or any kind of association, Begging for your value to be seen or appreciated will never work. May you never have to beg people or prove your value to anyone. If they don’t see it, let them go.
“I don’t need to convince you to see reasons to be in my life or work with me, If you don’t see it, that’s on you and it is not a question of it not being good enough too.
“I’m at a point in my life where I’ve wasted years trying to prove I’m a good person, Not anymore. I’ll happily set you free.”
