Singer Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy, has shared his contemplations on his music vocation.

He referenced that a portion of his partners ought to have retired from music at this point.

The 45-year-old noticed that previously, artists didn’t stay dynamic for long.

Talking on the Adesope live show, Rudeboy noted that it tends to be difficult to balance his daily existence with his music vocation.

“In the old ways of doing music, by now people like us suppose don retire,” he said.

“There’s always a time for everything in life. Things will always happen. If you are a celebrity and you think people will always see you like an angel, trust me you’re not going anywhere. There are times that something would be against you. It’s always like that.

“Every top artist has had their share of criticisms and scandals. Even the up-and-coming ones, too, will suffer the same fate someday. It’s a normal thing [in the entertainment industry]. But what matters is your personality and how you handle issues.”

Rudeboy became famous during the 2000s as a component of the P-Square team with his twin sibling, Peter Okoye, known as Mr P.

The duo was initially isolated in 2016 but reunited in 2021. In August 2024, Rudeboy reported that P-Square had parted again after Peter blamed him and their sibling, Jude Okoye, of abusing the group’s cash.
