- Solána Imani Rowe, also known as SZA, has expressed her frustration with not being a bug.
- The singer used bug prosthetics to resemble a bug for her appearance on a recent episode of the ‘Hot Ones’ podcast.
“No other reason, I’m just tired of being… not a bug,” she said of her choice of costume.
The four-time Grammy winner conveyed that she takes more noteworthy pride in the melodies that have emerged from her battles.
“I have a harder time enjoying anything if I don’t suffer for it. ‘Nobody Gets Me’ is my goal of like, ‘I can make a ballad’… And then they’re like, ‘This other song that took you 3 seconds to write as a joke, is [doing well].’ I guess I just need—Suffering adds value, always,” SZA expressed.
