The Nigerian Muslim community has expressed its displeasure over the release of a promotional video showing a veiled actress robbing a bank.


After the video was posted on Facebook, Muslims vowed to file a complaint with Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, seeking to crack down on accounts it called "Islamophobia." They call it content." .


"I see this crime. Something must be done to stop these people. ~l0p Another Facebook user named Alpha Shahu wrote: "And one of our brothers from Tomorrow, Ilorin will perform with its hypocrites. ! The organization will stop at nothing to make an impact and make money. ”


The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has weighed in.


“It aims to portray Muslim women as criminals who commit crimes against people. The films may also expose Muslims to widespread public criticism and condemnation. Muslims have bravely and decisively fought the campaign in Nigerian courts until the country`s highest court ruled that the evil film was a new attempt against the hijab. ”


“We have accepted your messages and activity is being taken at the present time. Our religion brought a message of trust and harmony to the world. We won`t permit anybody to paint our ladies, our moms, our spouses, our little girls and sisters in the shades of Shaytan. Be great envoys of Islam. Don’t bring the law into your hands. Permit the specialists to take fundamental action.”
