Arsenal Football Club has formally declared the signing of Italian Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna on a long term contract.
The 22-year-old Itailan joins the English side after a great season in Serie A, where he assumed an essential part in Bologna’s Champions league qualification.
The North London club affirmed the development on Monday online, inviting Calafiori with a warm “Benvenuto” – Italian for “Welcome”.
Football journalist Fabrizio Romano affirmed the arrangement, expressing, “Official. Riccardo Calafiori joins Arsenal from Bologna on a five-year deal.”

The youth will wear the number 33 shirt for Arsenal and has proactively joined his new colleagues in Philadelphia as they get ready for the 2024/25 season.
