Police Reportedly Teargas Protesters Waving Russian Flags In Katsina

Protesters in Katsina State are partaking in the cross-country protest against hunger in the country.

The gathering, basically comprised of youths, was seen walking on the roads while holding Russian flags.

Daily Trust reported that on Monday morning, August 5, the protesters waved the flags and chanted in Hausa, “Hunger is killing us.”

Cops have started following them and utilizing teargas to separate the protesters.
