Entertainer Eve Esin voiced her disappointment with Air Peace after the airline cancelled her flight to Asaba.
On Wednesday, she took to Instagram to post screenshots of the carrier's warnings about the flight abrogation.
In her accompanying message, she stated, “Air Peace!!!! I will drag this brand.”
Eve expressed her concerns about the airline’s management of the situation, questioning, “How does your client book a business class ticket days in advance, only to be tossed back and forth?
“I came here for an appointment. I don’t live in Abuja. I was supposed to be in Asaba today to start a job tomorrow.
“If you cancel a flight for today, shouldn’t there be a consideration to fly the next day?”
“I call your airpeace customer care representative and she is asking me to reroute to Anambra or Benin.
“Who foots the bill? I didn’t know my route when I booked the flight?” she asked, adding that the Anambra flight was fully booked as well.
She continued, “As if it’s not enough, she says ‘go to the airport and take a 50-50 chance, someone may not show up.’ This brand is a JOKE!!!”
Eve also recounted her efforts to secure another flight through an airport agent, only to be presented with a “black market” ticket option.
“Black market for a flight ticket? Hmmm… Air Peace @flyairpeace I don’t like drama. I don’t intend to create one. You people better get me into Asaba tomorrow. I am so livid right now.”
It is actually quite significant that in July, unscripted television star Erica Nlewedim stood out as truly newsworthy at Lagos air terminal after complaining of the same dilemma.
