Late Mohbad’s family kicks against late singer’s anniversary event

The group of the late Afropop Singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, has voiced their concerns and disappointment regarding how the Lagos State Police are handling the investigation concerning his passing.

In a letter from Taiwo Odumosu, representing the family, they mentioned, “The manner in which the case has been managed raises serious questions about the officers’ professionalism, diligence, and integrity.”

The family required the ongoing examiners to be disbanded and for a specific group from base camp to assume control over the instance of their son’s demise.

“We request that the current team handling the investigation in Lagos be overhauled due to their unprofessional and shoddy handling of the case,” the letter stated.

The family guaranteed that the police didn`t deal with the crime location appropriately, didn`t answer well to their report, missed significant proof and witness explanations, and didn`t lead a criminological Investigation.

“The police’s apparent avoidance of investigating this critical area is concerning and suggests a serious oversight in their investigative procedure,” the letter said.

“It is imperative to question who the officers might be protecting, on whose instruction, and why such a high-profile case is being handled with such apparent disregard for standard investigative procedures,” the letter stated.

The family concluded by saying, “While we rely on the almighty God and your good selves to get to the root of this case, one thing is certain: If it takes ten years, the killers of our son will be brought to justice, and history will not be kind to every single soul that covers up the iniquity and inhumanity of man to such a promising youngster.”

The Aloba family featured their feelings of trepidation about expected concealment and the Investigation not being straightforward.
