Evicted Big Brother Naija contestant Chinwe, 30, has refuted claims that she “hired” her boyfriend and fellow housemate, Zion, 26.
Speculation arose after Chinwe mentioned “sponsoring” Zion, leading some to believe their relationship was fabricated for the show.
In a new meeting with Legend Daniels, Chinwe explained that they were at that point seeing someone to their support in the show.
She expressed her frustration with those perpetuating the narrative that she “hired” Zion, stating it was an unfair judgment of her character.
“I feel like I’ve been judged unfairly.
“Some people said I hired ‘sponsored’ Zion without even knowing the history of our relationship,” she said.
Chinwe accentuated that they had been together for a considerable length of time prior to entering the show. Notwithstanding, she communicated disappointment with Zion talking about their confidential minutes during the truth series.
“Zion should not have talked about our intimate moments,” Chinwe added.
