During the continuous statewide protests , renowned Nigerian DJ, Obianuju Catherine, otherwise called DJ Switch, has challenged FCT Pastor Nyesom Wike and previous Niger Delta assailant authority Asari Dokubo.
The 10-day cross-country hunger protests known as ‘EndBadGovernance’, which feature Nigeria’s monetary difficulties, started on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
Before the exhibition, Asari Dokubo cautioned the coordinators not to carry the protests to his district, expressing that their program doesn`t resolve impending issues.
Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister, also suggested that Abuja would be inaccessible to protesters.
In light of Wike and Dokubo’s comments over the course of the end of the week, DJ Switch, a famous Nigerian performer, requested that the two men show up in broad daylight and stand up to the demonstrators if they were not apprehensive.
The DJ, one of the coordinators of the 2020 EndSARS protests, expressed in a web-based entertainment post that the main answer for people’s hunger is food, not viciousness or dangers.
She wrote; “The only thing that can stop HUNGER is FOOD! Not guns, teargas, or threats from fat globs like Asari Dokubo and chicken feed Wike! I wonder why they are hiding now. Come outside let them eat you raw,”
