Raoul John Njeng, also called Skales, has guaranteed that he composed a few hit tunes for his partner, Ayodeji Balogun, notable as Wizkid, when they were both at Domain Mates Diversion, an EME record name.
Skales said on ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’, facilitated by satisfied maker Bae U the Barbie, that he co-composed a few of the tunes on Wizkid’s first collection, ‘Super Star,’ including the reward track ‘Wiz Party.’
Skales during the meeting anyway conceded that Wizkid likewise composed melodies for him, including the hit ‘Mukulu.’
In his words:
“Back in EME, we were a team so we used to write songs for each other. I wrote songs for Wizkid. He also wrote songs for me, too.
“He wrote ‘Mukulu’ for me and I wrote his song ‘Wiz Party.’ As I said, EME was a collective, so we did teamwork.”
Wizkid and Skales were among the primary artistes endorsed to Domain Mates Diversion, EME, possessed by R&B star and music leader, Banky W, in the mid 2010s.
The two of them later left the record name after a progression of conflicts with Banky W.
In a meeting with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu a couple of years prior, Banky W uncovered that Wizkid owed EME three collections in light of his underlying agreement with the name.
