Hopes are mounting that Gareth Southgate`s nearly eight-year tenure as national team manager will come to an end following England`s shock Euro 2024 exit. Sunday night to lift the Euro 2024 trophy.


Spain`s Mikel Oyarzabal lifted the trophy for the fourth time with a goal in the 86th minute. Nico Williams put Spain ahead early in the second half in Berlin, Germany before Cole Palmer equalized for England.


Southgate`s legacy includes turning England into a strong Championship side and reconnecting the club with fans, but now the focus is on potential well-executed.
