Actor and filmmaker in the Nigerian film industry, Tonto Dikeh, has called on Nigerians to reconsider the planned nationwide strike from August 1 to 10, 2024 against online violence.
Tonto Dikeh took to Instagram to commiserate with Nigerians about their stress and economic woes, which include rising market prices.
SHe claimed that her views were influenced by his experience of the EndSARS attack, while she claimed that unknown persons hijacked the movement or caused violence and loss of life.
Tonto Dikeh: "We may be right but this is what we are saying which is a real appeal to all Nigerian youths. Let`s make good choices."
Many Nigerians have criticized the woman`s proposal on social media. Many said his call for dialogue ignored the urgent need for action.
